Changes to Schedule

Quentin Calvert has opened a new club in Seaview named the London Blitz Club - I will be taking my regular Friday night slot there from 1pm slt this week.

Rest of the week is staying the same. Tomorrow night from 1pm slt is 60s tunes at the Pig & Whistle, and Wednesday is chill nite there with random tunes from 1pm onwards.

Kool Britannia has closed so Friday nights will be no longer. I have however taken on an extra night at the Pig & Whistle on Wednesdays. Tuesdays is going to be a themed night and Wednesday will be random requests.

Also, I have been asked to DJ at Burning Life, stay tuned for more details!

Yes, as of this morning Orange customers can access SL again :)

So 1pm tonight I will be playing some trance tunes at Honeybeezz, Amsterdam 2. Be there or be square.

Orange broadband blocking SL

As of Thursday night, Orange broadband is blocking various websites including www.secondlife.com, www.hmv.co.uk, www.play.com, www.meshcomputers.com, and others, most notably the Itunes store! So my weekend's gigging around SL is off for the moment. Holding out hope that I will be able to make Honeybeezz tomorrow, but not holding my breath, as Orange suck the big one. Will update when either they have fixed it, or my new connection with AOL is up and running :)

Live Music

Taffs Bar last night hosted the fabulous Wobbie Wobbit.

DJ Forever Delaid and myself provided the rest of the music for the event :)
Taffs has regular live music events weekly. Definitely worth checking out.

New Venue

Yes, I have a change to the schedule. Thursday at VooDoo has been replaced with Taffs Bar, a Welsh bar I discovered recently :) very nice place and I am looking forward to playing some tunes here!

Introduction

Hi, this is the blog I set up for my avatar in Second Life, known as Larissa Lomax.


I have been in Second Life as Larissa on and off since March 30,2004. I recently decided I needed a job to support my shopping habit, and found VooDoo Lounge. Starting as a host, then quickly moving onto DJing. I have DJed in RL for some time now and it was a natural progression to DJ in a virtual nightclub, due to having small children now it's much easier to DJ in SL!

Currently I DJ at VooDoo on Thursdays at 12pm (Rockin Lunch) and Friday 2pm (Dance Live Mix) This week I debut at Antares Lounge at 3pm Saturday. I'll post the slurls and such a bit later on.
